The 411 on the place

Moses Farm, now Crystal Springs farm, has been around for nearly 200 years. There's so much history here, so many lives lived, struggles, successes, failures, and now once again it goes on in the family.

Originally, the farm included extensive Apple Orchards; which the farm shipped barrels of apples each fall to the city markets. Sheep also played a vital role fertilizing the pastures and providing meat and wool. A very famous Belgian Stallion named "Tim" had sired many of the splendid work horses in the area. For Many summers, the farm supplied milk and fresh cream to summer hotels in Hague and Silver Bay.

Leicester and California Red sheep, cows, goats, turkeys, chickens, pigs, guinea hens, 3 dogs- Gurdie the great guardian of the sheep and 2 Dutch Shepherds, Sasja and Chava, the great guardians of everything else and 3 cats Bobcat the ferocious feline, Mallie the mouser, and Edgar the couch potato, now inhabit the farm along with 3 humans, Jon, Michelle, and Miranda.

We are going on 5 years now, living and working on the farm and all I can say is, WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG! We do everything here on the farm and practice natural grown produce and grass fed animals. No fertilizers or pesticides reside here!
